Dolphins, sea turtles, and fish dance under the waves in this marine painting.
I had been painting marine life and seascapes for years. In 2000 I was fortunate enough meet an amazing artist, Jaime Jimenez. He showed me a few blending techniques and gave me my first little air brush for working wet into wet with acrylic paint. My work up to this point was not quite what I wanted...but I had thought "this is as good as it is going to get". Jaime inspired me not to settle for what I knew how to do, but to progress and improve as an artist. I always joke about my "pre Jaime" work and "post Jaime" work. This 30"x40" acrylic painting was my first "post Jaime" piece. The difference between this and previous works are night and day.
