"extempore"
I started this painting in October of 2009 with an idea that ended up boring me. I got as far as the canyons and the sky before the painting took up residence behind my easel for more than a year. When I started on it again with a new idea I didn't work out the details as I should have. This caused many headaches along the way. In the end I was so happy with this that it remains apart of my personal collection. 24"x36" oil over acrylic.
