Classes in Frisco, Tx

I have been teaching painting and drawing classes since 1999. I now teach out of Hobby Lobby in Frisco Tx.

Frisco, Tx 75034 Fridays 6-8pm, Class fee is $15 per 2 hour session. You will need your own supplies (which can be purchased at Hobby Lobby, I am very particular about which brands are used). Please call (909)261-1345 or Email me at least 24 hours in advance for all classes.

This class is great for beginners and advanced students alike. Dont have any artistic tallent...no problem! You can learn how to use transfer paper, light boxes, and projectors to get your initial image onto your canvas or paper. Even the most "non-artistic" person can complete a beautiful painting that you will be proud to show to your family and friends.

The atmosphere in the classroom is kept very casual. This is a great time to relax with your friends and complete a beautiful painting in the process. This is an ongoing class. Finish one painting, and choose another to work on. Because everyone is working on their own project, you wont fall behind if you miss classes. You can come to every class...or come once a month. If you sign up in advance to a class and cant make it for any reason, you wont lose that money, the class fee is just applied to a future class. Have questions? Students choose their medium and the project they want to work on. I will teach you how to use that medium by helping you to complete each step of your painting or drawing one layer at a time. Many students start with florals and landscapes and move onto portraits within a few months.

Choose to work in Oil paint, Acrylic paint, Colored Pencil, Graphite, Charcoal, or Oil pastels.

This class is for teens through adults. Sorry, I do not accept children in this class.
